In lieu of our usual autumn "Wings Dinner" tradition of recognising and awarding all our successful students for their achievements over the last year, we are congratulating our students in a socially distanced manner at the flying school this year.
This year the award for Student of the Year was today awarded to Nick Phippen for his dedicated and professional approach to learning. Since gaining his Private Pilot's Licence (Gyroplanes) almost a year ago, he has embarked on a journey of self-improvement and development in his pilot skills and knowledge. Nick is currently studying to become a Gyrocopter Instructor, and is expected to complete the course early in 2021.
