With Scotland's rich history there are plenty of sights within a few minutes flight from Inverness, including: Fort George, Inverness City, Urquhart Castle, Culloden Battlefield, and the majestic mountain ranges and stunning coastline.
Can I Fly The Aircraft?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage it. Whilst we are happy for you to sit back and enjoy the amazing views, we also know that there is nothing quite like taking control of an aircraft in flight for the first time, and we would love for you to experience that.
Can We Fly Anywhere?
The Scottish Highlands is mostly located in what is called Uncontrolled Airspace. This means we are, for the most part, free to explore wherever we want within the time constraints of the flight. If there is somewhere specific you wish to fly, then we can usually make it happen!
I already have an interest in flying, can I have a more lesson-based experience?
Definitely. All of our Air Experience pilots are also fully qualified Flight Instructors. Just let your pilot know prior to boarding that you are interested in a more lesson-based experience.
What’s included in the price?
Unlike some Flight Schools, we don’t include any of the time the aircraft spends on the ground, so if you paid for a 1-hour flight, then that is exactly what you will get. And, in the unlikely event we return you back late, then the extra time in the air will be on us.
