I can't praise the pilot and staff at Highland Aviation highly enough.
When I arrived, I was welcomed at the door by the pilot, who in turn greeted my two daughters, my wife and two granddaughters saying they encouraged family involvement. After I filled in some paperwork, the pilot gave me a run down of the gyrocopter and asked me if I had any questions. We then got into our flying suits before going out to the aircraft. It was a gorgeous day, so after he ran through the safety procedures and check list, we were ready for take off.
We headed over to Fortrose and Avoch on the Black Isle where I had lived for close on thirty years and then made our way to Cromarty before following the coast back to Chanonry Point and finally back to the airport where my family was there to greet me.
I really can't emphasise enough how professional the pilot was and how welcoming the staff were. I would highly recommend Highland Aviation to anyone aspiring to take the controls of a gyrocopter or merely to be a passenger but from my perspective, it was an amazing experience. Many thanks.
