After much anticipation we will be resuming flight training and experience flights on Wednesday 15th July.
We will be open 7 days per week from 09:00-17:00 for all customers, with evening training flights by arrangement with your instructor throughout the summer months.
Staff will be available during office hours from Monday 13th July onward to take your bookings.
Free flying for members
Now that lockdown in Scotland is easing, we at Highland Aviation are keen to get up and running, and reconnect with our students and customers. So to welcome you back we are offering you a one-off promotion.
“Fly for 60 minutes, pay for 30!”
We are offering all members who hold a valid annual membership 30 minutes of free flight time if you fly with us for one hour or more this July. This can be used for check flights for existing pilots, or flight training for our student pilots.
Check Flights
All pilots wishing to rent our aircraft will require a flight check with one of our instructors. Depending on recency and experience, the duration of check flights will vary based on proficiency.
We advise all pilots to watch the Return to Flying Presentation from GASCo before their next flight.
Covid-19 Precautions
Masks must be worn within our premises, and when in aircraft. They can be purchased onsite should you need to. Hand sanitiser is available within the school. Balaclavas will be provided to those in the Open Cockpit Gyrocopter.
Cleaning regimes have been heightened, with regular cleaning carried out both in the premises and aircraft.
Inverness Airport Opening Times
In the short term, take offs and landings will be somewhat limited due to airport closures throughout the day. We will therefore be operating to strict time slots. This will require all customers to be punctual, and late arrival could mean you lose your slot.
