I received the 30minute gyrocopter experience as a birthday gift and having just had my flight, I would recommend it to anyone.
The staff were very friendly and prior to my flight completed I completed the relevant paperwork, part of this was asking what your aim was of the flight. I mentioned I was a big aviation geek!
My instructor was Nick. He was an absolute gentleman. He had read the paperwork I had filled out, as he knew my interest in aviation and was able to go in-depth with the aircraft and it’s working. I am not a nervous flier but if I was he would be the person to reassure me.
I flew in an open canopy Gyrocopter. It is probably one of the most unique experiences I have ever had!! Being so close to Inverness you are not spoilt for unique scenery. My flight was over Inverness and provided amazing views down the Great Glen and the Kessock bridge. It was the quickest 30minutes I have ever had in my life.
In short if you or someone you know who would like this, try it. You will not be disappointed.
Be warned if you are into aviation your couch may suffer as you try to find spare change to get enough cash to get your PPLG.
